Bombshell Mandy holds many hats in life working as a Mom / Girlfriend / Manager / Owner/ Twerk Master (just kidding!) in her hometown of New Orleans.   • What is, (or should be) your Bombshell nickname? Maverick
  • What can you do today, that you were not capable of a year ago? I can wear a swimsuit without a huge shirt on top and share my cinnamon rolls with everyone. Confidence.
  • What is on your bucket list?  I want to be in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, even if I have to be the turkey!
  • What is your favorite charity to be involved with? Chad Barcia Athletic Awareness Foundation, I started this to help make sure my guardian angel could continue to help others from heaven. I reach out to help others and give back just as he showed me how. #66Forever  
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? I’ve met so many wonderful ladies I’m more confident. I started this team to give others an escape from regular life, to create a sisterhood. I’ve gained more family and support I could ever imagine. Friendships were built here. Whether people stayed or went the experience and bonds they made will be with them forever.

Bombshell Brittney is a Senior Financial Consultant at a local business. She is born, raised, and still lives in Marrero, LA and has 2 hairless Sphynx cats at home. Bombshell Brittney is in her second year on the team and is serving as our Elite Team Capitan.

  • What is your personal goal this year? Continue going to the gym.
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? I have made new friends that I know will make a huge change in my life.

Bombshell Alysa is an original member of the Bombshells team! She is from Dittmer, Missouri, and currently lives in New Orleans working as a Social Worker with a specialization in Addiction cases. Bombshell Alysa is a multi-talented lady; she can wiggle her ears!

  • What is your favorite food joint (restaurant) in NOLA? Felipe’s Mexican Taqueria!!!!
  • What can you do today, that you were not capable of a year ago? Being an amazing dog Momma-I didn’t have him a year ago and he changed my life
  • What is on your bucket list? Go to Oktoberfest in Germany
  • What is your favorite charity to be involved with? SPCA-did I mention how amazing my dog is?
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? I’ve gained so much confidence through being a bombshell and making myself go outside my comfort zone. I couldn’t be more grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing women who all boost each other up.

Bombshell Amanda

Bombshell Amanda is a New London, Connecticut native who now lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is her third year as a Bombshell. She used to do pin-up modeling and is in the Top 5 of 100 pin-up models on Pinupmodels.org. She was also in a Red Hot Chili Peppers “Brendan’s Death Song” music video, a burlesque dancer for 5 years, and loves to sing!

  • What can you do today, that you were not capable of a year ago? Put on faux eyelashes which I still am struggling with hahaha
  • What is on your bucket list? Travel, travel, travel!
  • What is your personal goal this year? Jumpstart a career, have a healthy and loving relationship, be more confident in me.
  • What is your favorite charity to be involved with? Al Copeland Foundation, JSPCA
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? I love that I have so many new girlfriends now, I’m so much more active athletically than I have ever been, and I feel like being a Nola Bombshell, especially dance team captain, gives me a purpose in life.

Bombshell Chelsey is a stylist at H2O Salon in Mandeville. She is from Belle Chasse, LA and now lives in Picayune, MS. Chelsey has been a Nola Bombshell for three years and is one of the tallest Bombshells at 5’10”!

Bombshell Kat is in her second year as a Bombshell! She is a Middle School Science Teacher who originally hails from Rock Island, IL. She currently resides in New Orleans, LA and back in her college days took a master class from actress and comedian, Lily Tomlin!

Bombshell Linda

Bombshell Linda is an original member of the Bombshells team! Originally from Chicago, Bombshell Linda works as a High School English Language Learners teacher. When she was 25 she went on a ten-day silent retreat in Pecatonica, IL to study Vipassana meditation, and still practices it today. Vipassana is the original method of meditation developed and taught by Siddhartha Gautama.

  • What is your favorite food joint (restaurant) in NOLA? So many! Breads on Oak, Ba Chi Canteen, & anywhere Vegan Chef Nola pops up!
  • What is on your bucket list?  I want to visit every continent at least once (except Antarctica, but who knows!), go to a World Cup game, visit all 50 U.S. states, learn at least two more foreign languages, live in another country for at least a year, learn to play an instrument well, write a book, and run a full marathon.
  • What is your personal goal this year? I want to establish and maintain a regular physical fitness routine that will increase my physical strength and endurance and also maintain mental and emotional wellness.
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? Being a member of this sisterhood has helped me to feel part of something bigger than myself and my own goals, and, in turn, it has helped me to walk more confidently in the direction of my goals (and even set new, exciting ones!). Perhaps most importantly, this sisterhood has shown me that in a world where women constantly cut each other down in the “race to the top,” it is possible to rise above our differences and above the incessant competition and to lift each other up in order to accomplish great things for ourselves, our group, and our community.

Bombshell Lynn

Bombshell Lynn is in her second year as a Bombshell! She moved from Philadelphia, PA to New Orleans, LA last year to pursue a career in the hospitality and travel industry and currently works for Booking.com as an Account Executive. Bombshell Lynn has many passions, including choral singing and has actually performed in New York’s Carnegie Hall.

  • What is your favorite food joint (restaurant) in NOLA? Superior Grill on St. Charles
  • What is your go-to dance move? Shuffle ball change! Tapper for life!
  • Are you a morning or night person? Neither! I need my sleep.
  • What is on your bucket list? Travel to all of the world’s best theme parks and ride all of the roller coasters.
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? I’m so excited to be a part of a group of girls who bond over a love of dance. I love that we can work our butts off in perfecting a number but go out for margaritas afterward.

Bombshell Myah is originally from Mandeville and is now residing in Metairie. She is a brand new Bombshell who also enjoys hula-hooping – she’s even been performing at events around the city for the past 3 years!

  • What can you do today, that you were not capable of a year ago? I am capable of living my best life today.
  • What is your go-to karaoke song? Killing me Softly” by Fugees. I especially love singing it with my mom and fellow Bombshell, Shannon!
  • What is your personal goal this year? My personal goal is to get back the flexibility that I once had and to spend more time dedicated to practicing yoga.
  • What is your favorite charity to be involved with? I love being involved with Go Red for Women. It’s a woman’s heart health charity. We only get one heart and we have to learn how to take care of it properly!
  • How has being a member of the Nola Bombshells sisterhood changed or empowered your life? I strayed away from dancing once I went to college and there was always a piece of me missing that yearned for that sisterhood and hearing “5,6,7,8” at least 100 times a week. Being apart of the Bombshells fills that hole that has been in my heart and has introduced me to so many amazing ladies. It’s an insane added bonus that I get to do what I love the most with my mom as well! #GoShannie
